State Bank of Mongolia

The State Bank of Mongolia is a state-controlled bank established in 2009 from the assets of failed banks Anod Bank and Zoos Bank, and later merged with Savings Bank in 2013. It is recognized as one of five systemically important banks in Mongolia's financial system. In 2022 it conducted an IPO through the Mongolian Stock Exchange and became a public joint stock company, alongside Golomt Bank in the same year and Khan Bank, Trade and Development Bank and XacBank in 2023.
