Mongolia Day: Mining Update — IMARC 2026

Capital Markets Mongolia, together with the Mongolian National Mining Association (MNMA) and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, invites you to Mongolia Day: Mining Update, held as part of IMARC 2026 at ICC Sydney. Mongolia holds one of the world's most consequential undeveloped resource pipelines — copper, coking coal, uranium, rare earths and fluorspar — sitting directly on the supply routes that Asia's energy transition depends on. What has changed is not the geology but the plumbing around it: how these assets get financed, governed and listed. The country is moving from a purely licence-and-concession market toward a capital-markets one. State-owned enterprise reform is being routed through public listings, the sovereign investment vehicle is being built with international asset managers, and Mongolian issuers have begun testing international exchanges directly. For a global investor, that means Mongolian resource exposure is becoming something you can actually hold, price and exit — not only something you have to build. Mongolia Day: Mining Update brings the people who set that policy and run those assets into one room, at the one week of the year when the global mining investment community is already assembled in the same building. Objectives: 1. Present Mongolia's current mining project pipeline and licensing framework to international investors and operators. 2. Set out the policy and regulatory direction — SOE reform, listings, taxation and foreign investment protection — directly from the decision-makers. 3. Open direct dialogue between Mongolian companies and the funds, strategics and financiers attending IMARC and Mines and Money. Mongolia Day sits inside IMARC 2026 (27–29 October, ICC Sydney), which brings together 12,000+ participants from 120+ countries, 500+ speakers and 700+ investors under the theme "From Strategy to Execution."
