Mongolia Day: Mining Update to Explore Mongolia’s Evolving Mining Landscape and Investment Opportunities

Mongolia Day: Mining Update will bring together government representatives, mining industry leaders, and international stakeholders in Sydney on 28 October 2026 to discuss the changing landscape of Mongolia’s mining sector and emerging investment opportunities.

Held under the theme “Unlocking the Next Stage of Mongolian Mining: What’s Changing and Policy Priorities Ahead,” the event will explore developments shaping the sector, including policy priorities, the investment environment, copper potential, and mineral exploration opportunities.

As global demand for minerals and resources continues to evolve, Mongolia’s mining sector remains an important part of the country’s economic development and engagement with international markets. Understanding policy developments, advancing exploration, and building partnerships will be important to unlocking the sector’s next stage of growth.

The event will feature perspectives from Mongolia’s government and leading mining companies, followed by a discussion on translating policy priorities into projects. A networking reception will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange insights and strengthen connections across the mining and investment community.

Held as part of IMARC 2026, where Mongolia is a government partner, Mongolia Day: Mining Update aims to strengthen engagement between Mongolia’s mining sector and international stakeholders and highlight opportunities for future investment and collaboration.
