Petro Matad Limited

Petro Matad Limited is an independent energy company focused on oil exploration, development, production, and renewable energy in Mongolia. The Company's operations originated in 2005, while Petro Matad Limited was incorporated in 2007 and listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market in 2008. The Company holds a 100% working interest and operatorship in the Block XX and Borzon Block VII Production Sharing Contracts and achieved a major milestone by commencing commercial oil production from the Heron-1 discovery in 2024, becoming Mongolia's third oil producer. In addition to its petroleum business, Petro Matad is expanding into renewable energy through its SunSteppe Renewable Energy joint venture.
