Mongolia–EU Investors’ RoundTable 2026
12 - 13 March 2026
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Organizers: Government of Mongolia; Office of the Deputy Prime Minister; European Commission; European Investment Bank (EIB); EU Delegation to Mongolia; Embassy of Mongolia in Brussels
Event Rationale & Purpose
Aligned with Mongolia’s 2024–2028 Government Action Plan and Vision-2050 strategy, the Mongolia–European Union Investors’ Roundtable is designed to convert growing EU–Mongolia investment momentum into concrete, bankable outcomes.
Building on the success of the Mongolia–EU Business and Investment Forum in Ulaanbaatar (2025), the Brussels Roundtable will convene EU institutions, development finance organizations, and leading private investors to move beyond dialogue toward project-level engagement—focusing on priority sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and sustainable finance.
The core objective of the Roundtable is to advance discussions into defined project pipelines, structured financing pathways, and actionable next steps between Mongolian project sponsors and European partners.
Specifically, the event aims to function as a practical platform for project identification, initial screening, and alignment on financing structures, laying the groundwork toward mobilizing up to €1 billion in potential EIB-supported project financing over the coming years.
Where appropriate, the Roundtable will seek to culminate in letters of intent, expressions of interest, or agreed action plans between Mongolian institutions, project developers, and European financial partners.
