Event Terms and Code of Conduct
Capital Markets Mongolia LLC· Effective 27 October 2026· Last updated 27 October 2026
Summary
- Registration is free. CMM reviews every registration and may approve, waitlist or decline it. Subscribers get a guaranteed place (see section 2).
- Your ticket is for you. Don't share or transfer it.
- Be professional and respectful. Harassment isn't tolerated.
- Events may be photographed and recorded.
- Nothing said at a CMM event is investment advice.
01These Terms
By registering for a CMM event, you agree to these Event Terms and Code of Conduct, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. For an event held with a partner or at a third-party venue, that partner's or venue's rules may also apply. If they conflict with these terms on safety or venue access, theirs win.
02Registration and Approval
- Registration is free and doesn't guarantee a place, unless you're a subscriber (see below).
- We review every registration. We may approve it, put it on a waitlist, or decline it. Places are limited, and we balance the audience for each event. We don't have to give a reason.
- You'll hear from us by email. When you're approved, you get a confirmation with a calendar invite and, for in-person events, a ticket with a QR code. The ticket is also on your account page under My Events.
- Waitlist. If a place opens, we may move you from the waitlist to confirmed and email you.
- One registration per person. Register with your own details: your real name, organization and job title. We may decline or cancel registrations with false or incomplete details.
- Registration deadlines and capacity are set per event and shown on the event page.
- Subscribers' guaranteed place. If you're on CMM Pro or CMM Institutional and register before the deadline, we approve your registration without a waitlist, as set out in our Terms of Service, Section 9. We may still decline or cancel it for false or incomplete details or a breach of these terms.
03Your Ticket
- Your ticket is personal. It's issued to the named attendee and can't be transferred, sold or shared.
- Can't attend? Send a colleague by asking us first. Email us their name, title and organization before the event. We'll review them like any registration.
- At the door, show your ticket on your phone. If you don't have it, we can find you by name. We may ask for photo ID that matches your registration.
- A cancelled ticket, or one for a different event, won't be accepted.
04Cancellations and Changes
- If you can't come, cancel from your account page or email us, so the place can go to someone on the waitlist. Please cancel at least 48 hours before the event.
- If we change the event, such as the date, venue, agenda or speakers, we'll email registered attendees. Speakers and program can change at short notice.
- If we cancel the event, we'll email you. Because registration is free, we aren't responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur to attend. Book refundable travel where you can.
- We may cancel a registration before or during the event if you break these terms.
05Code of Conduct
CMM events bring together investors, companies, government and advisers. We expect everyone attending, speaking, sponsoring, volunteering or working at an event to:
- Be respectful and professional with every attendee, speaker and member of staff, in person and online.
- Not harass anyone. That includes offensive comments about gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or politics; intimidation; stalking; unwelcome photography or recording; and unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
- Not disrupt sessions. Follow the moderator's lead in Q&A and keep questions brief.
- Not sell aggressively. Networking is welcome. Unsolicited pitches, repeated contact after someone's said no, and distributing material without CMM's approval aren't.
- Respect speakers' terms. If a speaker or session is marked off the record, or held under the Chatham House Rule, follow it: you may use what was said, but not who said it or which organization they're from.
- Follow the venue's rules and staff instructions, including on safety and security.
06Reporting a Concern
If you experience or witness behavior that breaks this code, tell any CMM staff member at the event or email info@capitalmarkets.mn. We'll handle reports promptly and as confidentially as we can.
07What We May Do
If someone breaks this code, CMM may, at its discretion: warn them, remove them from a session or the event, cancel their registration, or decline their registrations for future events. Removal from an event doesn't entitle anyone to compensation.
08Photography, Recording and Media
- Events may be photographed, filmed, recorded or livestreamed. By attending, you agree that your image and voice may appear in this material, and that CMM may use it on its website, Platform, social media and marketing material, without payment to you. If you'd rather not be photographed, tell a staff member at registration and we'll do our best to avoid it.
- Session recordings may be published on the Platform, including behind a paid plan.
- Your own photos are fine for personal and professional sharing, unless a session is marked no-recording. Don't record whole sessions without CMM's permission.
- Media and press need to register as media and be approved by CMM.
- Sharing your attendance. Tools we offer, such as the MIF poster generator or LinkedIn sharing, are optional and only post what you choose to share.
09Your Information
We use your registration details to review your registration, send your ticket and event updates, check you in, and produce attendee materials such as name badges. We record whether you attended. With your consent, or where the law allows, we may share your name, title and organization with event partners or in an attendee list. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
10Not Investment Advice
Speakers, panels, presentations and materials at CMM events share their own views. They aren't investment, financial, legal or tax advice, an offer to sell, or a solicitation to buy any security. CMM doesn't endorse any company, project or opportunity presented at an event. Do your own research and get independent advice before making investment decisions.
11Health, Safety and Liability
You attend at your own risk and are responsible for your own belongings. To the extent the law allows, CMM isn't liable for loss, injury or damage at an event, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you attend applies. For a material change before an event you're registered for, we'll email you.
