Mongolia Investment Forum Returns to London as Mongolia's Capital Markets Enter a New Phase

Capital Markets Mongolia (CMM) will host the second annual Mongolia Investment Forum: London 2026 on 15 September 2026 in London, UK. The forum returns as Mongolia enters a pivotal phase in its integration with global capital markets.
The 2026 edition comes amid accelerating reforms across Mongolia's capital markets and state-owned enterprise (SOE) sector. Mongolia has taken a significant step toward SOE reform by signing a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation with Franklin Templeton, one of the world's leading global investment management firms. The agreement forms part of a broader reform programme under which the Government of Mongolia plans to consolidate selected SOEs under the National Investment Fund of Mongolia and pursue their listing on domestic and international capital markets by 2027. In parallel, Mongolia's five systemically important banks are preparing for potential dual listings as part of efforts to broaden and deconcentrate ownership.

The key themes of the forum are sovereign capital and state-owned enterprise reform, equity investing and cross-border listings, and financial sector innovation. The forum will bring together leading Mongolian companies, policymakers, regulators, and international investors. It aims to connect Mongolian companies with equity investors in the UK and globally, facilitate direct dialogue between Mongolian financial institutions and international investors, and deepen global investors' understanding of Mongolia's market potential and emerging investment opportunities.
The programme will feature two sessions. The first session, “Unlock Mongolia’s Economy,” will examine Mongolia’s macroeconomic outlook, policy and structural reforms shaping its next phase of growth, with a particular focus on SOE reform and the development of sovereign capital.
The second session, "Built for Scale: Mongolia's Digital Financial Frontier," turns to financial sector innovation and the equity stories of Mongolia's leading financial institutions. It features company presentations of Golomt Bank, ICFG, and AND Global, showcasing their growth, technology, and regional expansion.
Golomt Bank JSC has joined the Mongolia Investment Forum: London 2026 as the Main Sponsor, with StoneX serving as the Global Partner. The two partners will also co-host the forum’s networking reception. The Mongolian Stock Exchange JSC and the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association are supporting the forum as Strategic Partners.
